Adequate
This is not a essence I would drink neat. It is perfectly good with eggnog though.
The initial flavour is a strong hit of vanilla followed by a butterscotch aftertaste – nice - but not a Woods Old Navy sort of rum. This is an adequate substitute bar rum for mixed drinks.

Superior Rum Essence!
This is by far my favorite rum essence of all time. The flavor holds true no matter the alcohol content. There is a delightful butterscotch note followed by a smooth vanilla note to this two note liqueur. I personally enjoy this essence with a good premium cigar. All of my friends visit to divest me of my rum. Cannot go wrong with this essence, a sure hit without effort.

Good mixer/ Weak Straight up
This makes a better than well rum for mixed drinks however straight up or on the rocks it is a little light, still wonderful changes brought to plain vodka
