Our Absinthe Pro TF, when combined with our Wormwood Schnapps essence, is the pinnacle of Absinthe making. Over 20 different herbs are used to produce the Absinthe Pro TF essence, resulting in a liquor that will rival the traditional Absinthe of long ago. Was this review helpful to you?   0 of 0 people found the following review helpful:   Absinthe Pro TF May 12, 2008 Reviewer: Christopher from Harrisburg, PA United States   Prepared in combination with the Wormwood essence.  Very good.  I used Everclear 190 proof grain and did not dilute with distilled water.  Yields approx. 180 proof for 750mL.  I have drank czech absinthe several years ago.  It does taste comparable from what I remember. If you do use 190 grain as the base and do not dilute with distilled water, do not use the sugar as specified.  It will not dissolve into the alcohol. Planning on a 150 proof version in the near future to tame it down some. Was this review helpful to you?   0 of 0 people found the following review helpful:   Dan's recipe May 12, 2008 Reviewer: Daniel Dahl from Minneapolis, MN United States   Rather than sugar I use 1 liter of 150 or 190 proof grain alcohol and 1 liter of anisette mixed with 2 bottles of the absinthe extract and 3 bottles of the wormwood extract.  The anisette gives a nice level of sweetness as well as a very nice louche not to mention a very authentic absinthe buzz.
