Okay quality but poor filter papers
I like this filter unit, but every time I started to pass liquid through the tubes, the filter paper on the end would break open and leak my precious stone carbon into my receiving vessel. I tried doubling-up only to find that my last two papers broke through as well. I was forced to sacrafice a white cotton t-shirt and use multiple layers to prevent any more carbon loss. The more layers the better. I thought that was actually preferrable, and I was able to cut out twenty-four 5 inch circular pieces from one cheap XL t-shirt by tracing around an ruined CD with a Sharpie. The cotton stretches while the papers just tear apart when they get wet. I am asking myself why there aren't any washable, reuasable cotton filters on the website and why these aren't included with the filter unit instead of the papers. Oh well, hope this review helps others.
