Description  more details

This complete starter kit includes all of the necessary items to start making wine, beer, moonshine, liqueurs, and more.

Our Bronze Fermenting Starter Kit includes the following:

32L Fermenter

Made from food-grade, chemical-resistant PP plastic, this fermenting bucket a.k.a. brew bucket is great for 25L fermentations, or high-foaming mashes.

Stick-on Thermometer
Because different yeasts require different heats, it's important to be able to monitor the temperature while fermenting. For example, Prestuge Turbo 48 Turbo Yeast needs to maintain a temperature between 68-86°F, but High Spirits Turbo 48 Turbo Yeast needs it to be between 86-100°F.

Brewhaus Equipment Cleaner, 2oz
This Alkaline, non-toxic cleaner is specifically made to clean brewing or moonshine equipment made from stainless steel, soft metals, and plastics. Just remember to rinse the equipment well with potable water (or Brewhaus Equipment Rinse) after using this cleaner.

Brewhaus Equipment Rinse, 2oz
The Equipment Rinse is a non-chlorinated final rinse thats safe for use on stainless steel and does not have to be rinsed with potable water afterwards. Works best if you use this after the Equipment Cleaner.

This plastic, 3-piece fermentation lock can be used with water to protect your mash from oxygen and infection, or it can be used with activated carbon to reduce the odor from fermentation.

Plastic Spoon
This 18" plastic mixing spoon has a long handle to make it easy to mix in the fermenter.

Stainless Steel Siphon w/Clear PVC Tubing
This 1/2" Type 316 stainless steel racking cane comes with 5' of standard PVC tubing and has an ABS anti-sediment tip. Because PVC tubing only has some chemical resistance, we recommend using this only with lower-proof product (20%abv and lower). Due to the large size of this siphon, it is easiest to start by priming the siphon as follows: With the siphon full, place the stainless steel racking cane into the liquid to be transferred, lower the siphon hose to the receiving container, and release. The siphon will start automatically.
Note: For higher-proof products, we recommend using the Ultimate Siphon™, which is the first fully chemical-tolerant siphon available, using pharmaceutical-grade silicone tubing with an exceptional resistance rating to ethanol.

High Spirits Turbo 48 Turbo Yeast
High Spirits Turbo 48 is produced by Brewhaus right here in the USA. It will ferment to 14% in as little as 2 days, or up to 18% in 5-7 days at a temperature between 86-100°F. High Spirits yeast is unique in that is it Certified Kosher as well as free of urea, which is a known carcinogen found in some yeast brands.

Clearing Agent- Sparkolloid 1/3oz.
Sparkolloid is a super effective clearing agent, especially when extremely fast clearing is needed or where other clearing agents have failed. It is a proprietary blend of polysaccharides in a diatomacious earth carrier specially formulated for superior clarification.

Hydrometer- 30cm- dual scale- Premium
Brewhaus' 30cm (12")-long laboratory-grade hydrometer is for reading the density of a mash, to confirm that fermentation is complete, or to calculate the alcohol content from the fermentation by taking a reading at both the start and end of fermentation. Our hydrometer has both Specific Gravity Scale and Potential Alcohol scale. 0.980 to 1.170 Specific Gravity reading.

Alcoholmeter- 30cm- Premium
Note: Alcoholmeters are not for use on an un-distilled mash. Brewhaus' 30cm (12")-long laboratory grade alcoholmeter is for reading the alcohol content in distilled spirits only, for a 0% - 100% abv / 0 - 200 proof reading.

Test Cylinder- Glass- 13"
This 13" glass testing cylinder fits most hydrometers and alcoholmeters (including ours) and includes a plastic base with bumper for protection.
