Turbo Yeast is, in short, accelerated, high alcohol yeast intended for fermentation of alcohol. Having sampled virtually all turbo yeast brands, we have found none that compare in quality to those from Gert Strand in Sweden. Prestige Turbo Yeast produces far less volatiles during fermentation, resulting in a much cleaner finished product.

We advise caution when purchasing privately labeled turbo yeast, as there is no guarantee of manufacturer, manufacturing process, or batch testing. Private labeling of turbo yeast allows the seller to use any supplier willing to offer a lower price at any given time without having to change brand names or explain the reason for the change. We will only offer premium, brand name turbo yeast, guaranteeing you the best results every time.

It is no secret that yeast- even dried yeast- is constantly degrading, becoming less viable by the day. The yeast does not magically all die on the Best Before date stamped on the package. Proper storage of turbo yeast can dramatically reduce the loss of yeast cells and substantially improve the yeast's viability and strength, not to mention the faster start times due to a higher live yeast count. And, proper storage includes a consistent temperature, not just the avoidance of high temperatures in general. We have responded by being the only supplier that we are aware of to build a custom climate controlled cold-room specifically for our turbo yeast. This is not simply a 'climate controlled' closet space as found elsewhere, where the temperature and humidity can fluctuate from morning to night, and summer to winter. This is a tightly controlled environment where the temperature and humidity are maintained with minimal fluctuation. The result is a large increase in the live yeast cell count, and improved viability and strength of the turbo yeast in general.
